I had an amazing time working with other students across the Atlanta area. The park looked super clean after we completed the clean up.

Had such an amazing time preparing food and serving food to community!
Within this event I served as a volunteer lead. I gathered volunteers and provided insight on their tasks. I assisted with creating graphics and structure. I shadowed the event planners and assisted in many tasks. I helped set up/ tare down, escorting parents/children, and signed all individuals in for the event. This event contained a nail bar, hair salon, dance floor, fashion show, black hair museum, snow cones, and more. I assisted in making sure all aspects of the event were in order and provided any assistance where it was needed or could have been needed.
Within this volunteering experience I helped with educating incoming students on Spelman Traditions in many forms. I came to the school for three days and learned how to be a strong leader as well as different tactics in assisting incoming students.
